Zeus Scientific’s Borrelia MTTT algorithm is designed to improve the detection of early Lyme disease. The algorithm does not require a second tier immunoblot, which can add subjectivity and reduce sensitivity in detecting acute Lyme disease. Rather, it aims to eliminate the need for running immunoblots, which helps improve laboratory efficiency, as both tiers utilize the same ELISA method.
