Data Innovations announces its updated LIS and instrument monitoring system—Lab GPS v2.1—featuring a new mobile app to enable IS and instrument uptime monitoring and optimization. The system can help minimize clinical laboratory downtime with cloud-based connectivity monitoring and control through the vendor-neutral connectivity platform, Instrument Manager (IM). As with the desktop version of Lab GPS, the app allows LIS administrators to troubleshoot and restart LIS components, instruments, and IM connections remotely, thereby creating efficiencies in the lab and helping to improve patient care.
