Hemo bioscience presents its MQC-CAT, a ready-to-use product intended for quality control (QC) testing of routine blood bank reagents in manual column agglutination technology (CAT), blood typing, and antibody screening systems. The kit includes positive and negative red cells and plasma, a comprehensive worksheet, as well as a red cell antigen profile used for QC of Rh antisera. Additionally, MQC-CAT has been evaluated with Grifols’ DG Gel 8 and Ortho Clinical Diagnostics’ ID-MTS Gel systems.
