Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) has acquired Swift Biosciences, a developer of Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation genomics kits. As a developer and manufacturer of nucleic acid products for medical diagnostics, IDT will combine efforts with Swift, which develops and commercializes NGS library prep kits to maximize data output, provide comprehensive coverage, and reduce sequencing costs. The partnership of IDT’s NGS products with Swift’s portfolio of library preparation and enrichment products aims to enable more efficient and effective laboratory genomics.
