Hampshire Controls introduces the liquid nitrogen level detector/alarm, which features programmable alarm delay and mute periods, audio and visual alarms, a rechargeable battery back-up, and relay output. The Model LD-215 LN2 level detector/alarm uses a cryogenic RTD to sense the surface of LN2 by monitoring the temperature change of the probe as the liquid drops away. The tip of the probe is set to the desired level and the alarm will sound when the liquid level drops below one-quarter inch. It can also be configured for use as an overflow level detector/alarm and includes a set of dry contacts.
