Cooper-Atkins' TempTrak Test Tube Cavity Probe Adapter (#10186), used in conjunction with TempTrak wireless transmitters, automates the process of verifying and recording test tube cavity air temperatures. The adapter is universally sized to fit into both 13- and 16-mm cavities. The adapter eliminates the most common source of error by creating a stable seal between the temperature probe and the tube cavity, which prevents ambient air infiltration. For maximum accuracy, Cooper-Akins recommends the use of the 2020-NIST General Purpose Insertion Probe with the test tube cavity adapter. Wireless transmission of test tube warmer temperatures to the TempTrak server application can be performed with either 900 MHz or WiFi TempTrak temperature transmitters.
