Gold Standard Diagnostics introduces the Thunderbolt Automation Platform, a full-featured compact immunoassay processor. Users can streamline laboratory workflows with easy loading and fully automated results. Included in the software, the Test Designer allows configuration of virtually any EIA or Chemiluminescence assay protocol and validation experts fully configure the ThunderBolt for each individual assay. The Report Designer performs required calculations and results analysis in real-time. Computations include point-to-point, linear regression, cubic spline, 4 PL, 5 PL, Lin-Lin, Lin-Log, and Log-Log representation. The software integrates with most LIS systems. The ThunderBolt has a small 2x2-foot footprint and is lightweight at 65 lbs. Other unique features include a convection incubator, an orbital shaker, a built-in reader, intelligent racks, an on-board camera, a high precision micro-syringe, a sliding sample tray, and a bar code reader.
