Medicus Health's Lab Sample Locking Security Drop Box stores and secures large-volume lab specimens for retrieval. Lab samples are deposited via the 12-inch wide by 9-inch deep front opening, and retrieved via the bottom-keyed compartment. The boxes are designed to accept large volumes of specimen bags, blood tubes, vials, syringes, ampules, unit-dose packaging, and other medications. They also can be used to safely store keys, blood samples, or lab work that needs to be in a safe, locked receptacle until the proper personnel can retrieve it. Made from powder-coated white, 18-gauge steel, the boxes have pick-resistant locks coded in a non-repeating sequence for increased security to help prevent medication theft.
