NuAire features the LabGard ES (energy saver) brand of class II biological safety cabinets, which offers proper ergonomics, reduced energy consumption, and improved laboratory safety. The cabinets incorporate larger work zones with a shorter reach, an unobstructed view, and an adjustable working height for comfort and safety. The sliding window sash encased in a hinged frame opens 30° to assist in cleaning behind the sash, and the DC-ECM motor reduces energy consumption and extends HEPA filter life. The cabinets also utilize the TouchLink LCD color touch-screen, which controls all cabinet functions. When personnel are away, the nitecare system helps conserve energy while maintaining a sterile environment.
