Medegen Medical Products, presents its new dual-tested autoclave bags for sterilization, transport, and disposal of biohazardous waste. The bags are ASTM D1922 Elmendorf tear tested to exceed 480g of tear strength (MD and TD), and ASTM D1709 tested to exceed 165g dart drop strength. The bags comply with US Department of Transportation 49 CFR sections 173 through 197 and specific state regulations for the interstate and intrastate transport of biohazardous waste in all 50 states, and are manufactured from high strength polypropylene film. They can be autoclaved at temperatures up to 285°F and feature an integral steam-processing indicator that turns brown when autoclaved. The bags are available in red or clear and come in five sizes ranging from 14x19 inches to 38x47 inches. Each bag is imprinted with a biohazard symbol and warning in English and Spanish, and includes twist ties. Labeling customization is available.
