QuantuMDx has announced licensing opportunities for Q-PREP, a next generation DNA extraction kit that is expected to shorten and simplify molecular workflow for PCR, sequencing, and other molecular processes. Q-PREP is the first of QuantuMDx's technology to enter the marketplace. Their flagship product, Q-POC, is a handheld molecular diagnostic device slated for commercialization in 2016 that is reported to provide results at the patient's side in 15 minutes.
