Allergen Control

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc

Bio-Rad introduces Lyphochek Allergen sIgE controls to monitor precision of in vitro allergy test procedures. Lyphocheck Allergen sIgE controls (negative and panel A) are multi-constituent controls that eliminate the need for multiple, single-analyte controls. They are analyzed for 15 frequently tested allergen-specific immunoglobin E antibodies that include dust mites, mold, dander, foods, and grasses. They have a 3-year shelf life and reconstituted open-vial stability of 28 days when stored between 2°C to 8°C. Quantitative insert values are provided for three commonly used, fully automated test systems. When used with Bio-Rad’s Unity Interlaboratory Program, a comparison peer group, and Unity Real Time, a data management software solution designed to improve the effectiveness of quality control processes, allergy testing laboratories have a complete solution for daily, optimized quality controls. In addition, Unity Interlaboratory program participants are able to access their reports online at QCNet.
