Schuyler House announces an enhancement to its LIS supervisor review module, which
allows separate departments to independently review results prior to release. This supports a distributed review for larger laboratories as SchuyLab will now select only the work pending for the selected department’s review process. The reviewer may still be able to see (without being able to approve) the results of tests performed in other departments depending on security settings, allowing for a comprehensive view of all results, and to enhance the ability of a technologist to scan for unusual patterns. The review module continues to support a “whole lab” mode when a single point of review is desired.
