As automated temperature monitoring systems become increasingly common in health care settings, more and more laboratories are seeing the impact of this automation on operations. Whether the facility chooses a wired or a wireless system, a quarter of facilities without an automated system are planning to acquire one soon.

Satisfaction with automated temperature monitoring systems is mixed. While 28% of facilities rate their system as excellent, 21% deem their systems to be just satisfactory, indicating room for improvement exists in this area.
