Acknowledging Success

July-August 2015 - Vol.4 No. 4 - Page #1

This July marks the third anniversary of MedicalLab Management, and we are honored to recognize the thoughtful and diligent efforts of the many authors we have worked with over these years. Although we are still a young publication in the field of clinical laboratory practice, we are proud of the positive feedback we receive from our readers, who encourage us every day to continue sharing both the fulfillment of success and the lessons learned from failure in clinical laboratory initiatives.

As we have moved to a more in-depth slate of editorial topics this year, we continually strive to provide the kind of information that most benefits your day-to-day operations. In this issue, we explore the future benefits of digital pathology imaging tools, navigate the murky waters of quality management through the guiding lens of ISO 15189, investigate specimen tracking in the ED, and more.

We look forward to a wealth of professional trade shows this summer and fall—including the AACC in Atlanta and the AABB in Anaheim. We also look forward to meeting more laboratory administrators and gaining insight into the issues that keep you up at night and the successful projects that let you sleep soundly. Please stop by our booth (Booth 4156) in Atlanta at the AACC show and say hello. We love the feedback we get from our readers and eagerly anticipate hearing about the latest innovations and breakthroughs in the practice of laboratory medicine.

With kind regards,

Lisa Hack
Managing Editor
