MilliporeSigma’s Water Purification Systems
The Milli-Q CLX 7000 series of large, connected water purification systems from MilliporeSigma provide a high-performance water purification solution for daily water needs of up to 3000 liters. These systems integrate the Elix electrodeionization (EDI) module and new Milli-Q Connect remote service and monitoring capability. Water produced complies with the CLSI guideline for clinical laboratory reagent water (CLRW).
The series offers advanced traceability with full monitoring, automatic e-record archiving for up to 2 years, and Milli-Q Connect for rapid data access, facilitating laboratory audits and accreditation processes. Pre-installation water analysis, customizable Milli-Q Service Plans, and remote connection and repair capabilities maximize system performance and reliability. Elix EDI and Evolutive Reject Adjustment (ERA) technologies optimize water recovery, helping to decrease water consumption by up to 50%, and extending cartridge lifetimes. The large, interactive, and intuitive touchscreen interface clearly displays system operation information, helping to minimize user time and effort.
Phoenix Lab Water System from Aries FilterWorks
The Phoenix Ultra High-Purity Lab Water System from Aries FilterWorks delivers Type 1, 18.2 megohm water on demand. The system offers large capacity cartridges, providing premium ion exchange resin manufactured in-house, ultimately leading to customer savings. Its intuitive touchscreen allows for programmable dispensing of various volumes at the touch of a button, with real time quality monitoring, system operation, and alerts. Featuring a compact design and optional remote dispense, the Phoenix helps save counter space. It can be used on the lab bench, can be wall-mounted, or installed under the counter. Because the cartridge can be changed quickly, downtime is reduced during maintenance. For safety, the system automatically shuts down in the event of an alarm condition.
MEDICA from ELGA LabWater
The MEDICA range from ELGA LabWater provides a constant supply of compliant water for clinical analyzers with built-in, wrap-around reservoirs to occupy a minimal amount of space in the laboratory. Constructed from high quality components, these systems help ensure bacterial control and optimal purity, as well as an uninterrupted workflow. Features include pure water recirculation for consistently high quality with low bacterial specification, and long-lasting deionization cartridges that reduce exchange frequencies and running costs. All MEDICA units have a bypass loop, which continues to provide compliant water to the analyzer in emergency situations. The new MEDICA EDI systems combine technologies with lower running costs to ensure a constant and reliable supply of purified water exceeding the CLRW specification.
Reverse Osmosis DI Systems from Aqua Solutions
The RODI-T2 is a 10-LPH reverse osmosis pretreatment system from Aqua Solutions capable of removing up to 95% of contaminants from incoming tap water. The system eliminates the need for additional feed pumps and tank filters, as it stores the RO water in a 42-liter pressurized tank that aims to prevent airborne contamination risks. Its Type 2 DI feature produces 2 to 15 megohm-cm water at a flow rate of 5 liters per minute and comes pre-installed with a spare high-capacity DI-module. Easy to install and maintain, this purification system is available in bench, shelf, or wall-mounted forms, and an additional RO membrane can be added to increase RO production. In addition, the storage tank can be upgraded to increase capacity.
The RODI-C-12A Analytical Grade Type 1 DI system with built in RO pre-treatment is engineered for producing 18.2 megohm-cm ultrapure, reagent-grade water that meets or exceeds ASTM, CAP, and CLSI specifications for Type 1 reagent grade water. Both systems introduce continuous recirculation to maintain maximum water purity, making pure water available on demand. A 2-year warranty is available in most locations.
WaterPro BT Water Purification system from Labconco
For laboratories requiring from one to 10 liters of pure water per day, Labconco’s WaterPro BT System delivers ultrapure Type 1 water, up to 18.2 megohm-cm at a typical rate of >0.5 liter per minute. Type 1 water is ideal for many applications, including instrumental trace element analysis, mixing standardized acid/base solutions, and media solutions. An optional UV lamp can further reduce bacteria and TOC levels. Reverse osmosis (Type 3) water is produced and stored in the integral six-liter tank at a rate of three liters per hour. Type 3 water is ideal for laboratory applications such as reagent preparation and glassware rinsing. Compact, lightweight and quick to install, the WaterPro BT may be easily transported and shared among labs. To install, the system requires a connection to a tap water supply, drain, and electrical source. The Filter Pack bundles all water filter technologies (reverse osmosis, activated carbon filtration, and deionization) into one twin-cartridge package. Users can simply snap the Filter Pack into place to complete the installation.
MW90 and MW15 from Med Water Systems
Med Water Systems provides laboratory water systems for clinical analyzers, producing high purity water in high volumes. These systems aim to provide reliability and compliance, at a simple cost of ownership, with the ultimate goal of accurate results for chemistry and immunoassay tests. Service and support is available via training to optimize system performance and minimize risk of down time. The MW90 uses CLSI/Cap Type 1 water, ASTM Type 3, and comes with a user-friendly draw tap. It can be installed side by side if necessary, produces 70 to 200 LPH, and is compatible with a variety of analyzers. Designed for labs with instruments that consume low volumes of water, the MW15 uses CLSI/Cap Type-1 water, ASTM Type 3, and produces up to 15 LPH. National service coverage is available and support is accessible around the clock. In addition, the systems include a 1-year warranty.
