CO2 Incubator from PHC Corporation of North America

The 8.1 cubic foot culture CO2 incubator (model MCO-230AICUVL-PA) from PHC Corporation is designed to accommodate a larger volume of cell culture vessels and cell stacks. Part of the Cell-IQ CO2 series, the incubator uses infrared CO2 control to assure setpoint stability over a range of 0% to 20% CO2, while accelerating recovery without overshoot after door openings. Copper-enriched stainless steel interior components resist contamination and discoloration, and a SafeCell ultraviolet light concealed in the rear plenum destroys pathogens in the airflow and on the water pan surface. A patented Direct Heat and Air Jacket heating system provides uniform, stable temperature over a range of 5°C above ambient to 50°C in increments of 0.1°C.

An optional high-speed decontamination system uses H2O2 vapor to clean the incubator chamber in less than 3 hours. The H2O2 system safely and efficiently decontaminates with a kill rate of major contaminants of at least a six log reduction. A microprocessor controller with USB port includes a high-contrast color LCD display with touchscreen programming designed for use with gloved hands.
