Precise centrifuge control, accurate speed, safe use, and dependability are all essential to the quality of multiple downstream testing functions. Given the heavy workload of today’s centrifuges, there is substantial life cycle turnover; a boon, as the instruments continue to grow in sophistication. Fortunately, there is a robust vendor market for clinical centrifuges that is maturing in terms of automation interconnectivity and operational reliability.

Nearly half of laboratories are planning to acquire new centrifuges.


Centrifuges are highly regarded, with a 99% overall satisfaction rating.


The majority (70%) of laboratories planning to implement new centrifuges will do so in the next 3 years.

Led by Thermo Fisher Scientific,Hettich (including Helmer), and Beckman Coulter, this market enjoys broad utilization often involving a variety of vendors.
