Laboratories continue to embrace the use of medical grade refrigeration devices, as almost half of facilities have plans to acquire new systems. Given the value of refrigerated products and specimens, reliance on purpose-designed refrigerators and freezers built for the rigors and technology of today’s medical laboratories has become essential.

With 46% of facilities using medical-grade refrigeration exclusively, the number of labs without purpose-built refrigeration continues to dwindle.
