Alejandro R. Molinelli, PhD, NRCC-CC, FADLM, is director of the clinical pharmacokinetics laboratory in the department of pharmacy and pharmaceutical sciences at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. His duties include clinical consultancy, technical and regulatory oversight of the laboratory, and method development and validation. Alejandro also serves as a clinical chemist consultant with the department of pathology at St. Jude. He completed a clinical chemistry fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle; obtained his PhD in toxicology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biology and biochemistry at the University of Puerto Rico. Alejandro's professional interests include therapeutic drug monitoring, clinical toxicology, and quality improvement.
