Cynthia C. Keyak, MHA, MT(ASCP), SSGB, is the microbiology manager for Alverno Laboratories. Having begun her career as a specimen processor, she worked her way up through the organization to become a medical technologist, technical coordinator, system quality coordinator, microbiology supervisor, and now, microbiology manager. Cindy earned her BS in Biology from Purdue University, her master’s degree in healthcare administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, and a Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Michigan
