Danyel H. Tacker, PhD, DABCC, FADLM, is the medical director of the special chemistry and mass spectrometry laboratory sections at West Virginia University (WVU) Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia. In addition, she is a clinical professor of pathology at WVU School of Medicine and serves as CLIA medical director at WVU Hospitals – Fairmont Medical Center. Beyond these roles, she assists with specimen processing, outreach, point-of-care, send-out, and QA functions of the WVUH laboratories.
