Stephanie Boynton, MLS(ASCP)cm, is the microbiology manager at UMass Memorial Health–Milford Regional Medical Center in Milford, Massachusetts. With over 15 years in the field, she leads the micro lab with a focus on quality, efficiency, and patient care. Stephanie began her career as a senior medical laboratory technologist at Massachusetts General Hospital where she developed her skills and discovered a passion for laboratory leadership. She earned her BS in medical laboratory science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and is currently working toward an MBA at Southern New Hampshire University. Stephanie fosters a culture of innovation in clinical microbiology, streamlining laboratory workflows, and mentoring the next generation of laboratory professionals.
