Randox announces the FDA has approved the Acusera Immunoassay Specialty 1 control for use in US laboratories. The control is an assayed quality control (QC) suitable for use with most immunoassay analyzers. With assigned values provided for nine complex immunoassay parameters, the multi-analyte immunoassay QC also contains clinically relevant levels of Vitamin D. Lyophilized for enhanced stability, when reconstituted, this control will remain stable for up to five days at 2°C-8°C or four weeks at -20°C. The Acusera Immunoassay Specialty 1 control allows laboratories to monitor the precision of their testing methods and helps ensure quality patient results.
