Visiun’s laboratory analytics system, Performance Insight, introduces new benchmarking opportunities for productivity and cost per test that enable the establishment of key performance metrics (KPMs) using readily available management reports. Laboratories can gauge how they compare to their peers in groups stratified by section/department, institution type (academic/community, etc), lab type, and size (performed test volume). These benchmarks can provide insight into reducing operating expenses and can allow participants to network with best practice labs in their peer group (via a required opt-in).
