CompuGroup Medical, developer of the CGM LABDAQ laboratory information system, announces its CGM LABNEXUS laboratory outreach solution. The solution provides laboratories offering outreach testing with two methods to stay connected to the providers they serve. A branded Web portal allows lab clients to place orders and receive results via any computer with an Internet connection. In addition, direct interfaces to provider EHRs allow real-time data to be exchanged between the lab and the provider. These connectivity tools simplify the information exchange process while improving workflow, enabling labs to better serve their clients.
