Siemens Healthineers’ Enhanced Liver Fibrosis (ELF) is a prognostic tool for patients with advanced fibrosis (F3 or F4) due to non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). The blood test, designed for use with the ADVIA Centaur XP immunoassay system, helps assess the likelihood of progressing to cirrhosis and liver-related clinical events. The test provides a simple numeric score automatically generated via an algorithm that can be used to help improve patient care.
