Real-Time PCR System

Thermo Fisher Scientific

Thermo Fisher Scientific’s in vitro (IVD) system is designed to enable routine molecular diagnostic testing on a single system. Users can easily interchange between 96- and 384-well blocks, providing the flexibility to expand assay menus and increase throughput. The system is automation compatible, and both 96- and 384-well blocks can be integrated with any level of automation, including liquid handling for continuous plate-loading and API interfaces. Interchangeable blocks enable labs to increase throughput as needed to support higher test volumes, which can be particularly important in infectious disease monitoring, where testing volumes fluctuate during seasonal peaks. The clinical-focused qPCR workflow is designed to reduce manual setup and decrease user errors. The system offers touchscreen operability, with point-of-operation controls for assay layout, data analysis, and report processing. Remote desktop controls, facial authentication, and voice command allow for fast ramp-up and ease of use.
