The CE-marked Anti-Measles Virus ELISA 2.0 (IgG) supports the diagnosis of a measles virus infection or determines the immune status against measles virus. This is the first of several expected assays in development, helping to expand EUROIMMUN’s serological infection diagnostics portfolio with validation for dried blood spots (DBS) as sample material in addition to serum and plasma.
DBS diagnostics require only a few drops of capillary blood, typically from a fingertip, deposited on a paper card and sent to a lab for analysis. With its minimally invasive collection and high sample stability, DBS is designed for routine testing, research, and regions with limited medical infrastructure.
